The Stay At Home Daddy Survival Guide
The dad survival guide is finally here… It’s chop-out time…
I am not going to tell you about my feelings, I am not going to tell you to buy ingredients that are hard to gather, I am not going to tell you that you need to exercise, I am not going to tell you what to do that much… I will tell you about what I do and maybe, just maybe you will like it.
I have been a full time stay at home dad (SAHD) now for over 4 years and thought I might start helping other dads through my experiences. As a stay at home dad I found that I could not get the answers I wanted from the internet, just information aimed at mums not a stay at home dad. I am a list guy and a high energy person and this survival guide for kids was originally build just for me and it worked great but my wifey said do something with this info rather than hiding it away. Survival Guide is born…
The recipes in the survival guide are able to be completed by any skill level. The ingredients are canned, frozen or fridge. There are very few steps in each recipe and can only add variety to the weekly menu.
The projects in the survival guide are ranging from very easy to moderate. I am self taught so if I can do it, you should be able to. Most of the project can be completed with the kids involved and gives everybody something to do.
The facts are just the numbers of the stay at home dads in Australia and their age groups.
The blog goes into the more personal experiences of a stay at home dad ranging from a the kids trashing the house to my vasectomy, ouch.
The activities section gives tired parents the chance to have a fun day. Sometimes its just the image that prompts us into gear for the day. To save time I have listed over a hundred activities both indoor and outdoor to choose from.
The funny section is stories about the experiences with my kids and other funny stay at home dad stuff.
The advice section focuses on the daily grind of being a stay at home dad, it offers advice ranging from bin location to washing the clothes.
The buy this section is me experiencing products that have really helped out with the kids. I promise you, buy it and your life will be easier.
I am sure the information I talk about will be a good tool to help out the other stay at home dads.
